Role: Heavy-duty diesel truck and equipment technician responsible for safe operation, repair, rebuild, and maintenance of company-owned or leased trucks and rolling stock. Responsibilities: Conduct daily inspections, diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on diesel refuse trucks, including hydraulic, electrical, brake, suspension, PTO systems, and other components. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure fleet readiness and safety. Qualifications & Skills: Relevant experience, certifications, and skill level to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and related systems. Additional Details: Compensation ranges from $30-$40/hr with potential for higher pay. Benefits include PTO, tool allowance, boot reimbursement, health benefits, and 401K. Overtime is available after 40 hours. The shift is from 1:45 pm to 12 am, Monday through Friday. Note: Candidates must have valid work authorization; GFL does not sponsor visas.
