Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and motivated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience working on vehicles, trucks, or diesel equipment. Diesel mechanic experience is not required but would be an added bonus. We are willing to consider someone with basic mechanical skills who is eager to learn, dependable, and willing to grow with the company. Responsibilities Perform basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles, trucks, and equipment. Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues. Perform oil changes, brake repairs, and general preventative maintenance. Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify needed repairs. Assist with diesel engine maintenance and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all shop safety procedures. Work alongside other mechanics to complete repairs efficiently. Qualifications Basic knowledge of automotive or diesel mechanics. Diesel mechanic experience preferred. Basic understanding of engines, brakes, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Ability to use basic mechanic tools and equipment. Willingness to learn and develop mechanical skills. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous shop or hands-on mechanical experience is a plus. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in mechanics. Experience is a plus, but the right attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important. Employment Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday 7am-5pm, Saturday 7am-12pm Compensation: Based on experience.
