Diesel Mechanic - ASE Certified

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with an ASE Certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of heavy equipment and industrial machinery and experience is diagnostics. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and safety. *Pay will be based on prior experience Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and associated systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct inspections of heavy equipment to identify potential problems. Repair or replace defective parts, including shocks, struts, and HVAC components. Operate heavy equipment as needed for testing and repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Skills Must be ASE Certified. Proficient in automotive repair with a focus on diesel engines. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices. Ability to weld and perform structural repairs as necessary. Experience with Caterpillar machinery is a plus. Knowledge of industrial equipment systems, including HVAC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
