ConfidentialJob Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment, including construction machinery, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and commercial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our ongoing operations across various industries. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, air brakes, and other critical components using schematics and specialized tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and construction machinery to ensure optimal performance. Fabricate parts or modify existing components as needed to meet specific operational requirements. Troubleshoot equipment issues through detailed inspections and testing procedures; identify root causes using automotive diagnostics and electrical diagnostics techniques. Service and repair power tools, welding equipment, HVAC systems, suspension systems, tires, brakes, and alignments for various machinery. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed; follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications for quality assurance. Assist in heavy lifting operations and perform welding or soldering tasks to repair or assemble machinery parts safely and efficiently. able to rebuild motors. CAT, Detroit, MP8 Skills Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with construction equipment servicing including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and power tools use. Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks accurately; familiarity with heavy lifting techniques essential. Skilled in tire service, brake repair, air brake systems, suspension alignment, HVAC maintenance, and general vehicle maintenance. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients.
