T Jay Reefer Repair is one of the biggest private reefer repair shops in Ontario. We run 24/7/365 in-house repairs from a 4-acre yard in Brampton, and we rent reefer trailers to carriers across the GTA. Our customers are fleets that can't afford downtime, and we keep their trailers running. What you'll do Diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units on reefer trailers, including Carrier (X4, Vector, X2) and Thermo King (Precedent, SB series) Troubleshoot electrical systems, controllers, alarm codes and sensors Repair compressors and refrigeration systems, find leaks, and recover and charge refrigerant Service diesel engines on reefer units, plus heaters and APUs Perform preventive maintenance and pre-trip inspections on reefer units and trailers Repair trailer bodies, doors, seals, lights, brakes and suspension as needed Write clear repair notes and parts records for each job What you bring [3+] years of hands-on experience repairing reefer units on trailers or trucks Strong diagnostic skills on both Carrier and Thermo King units ODP card (Ozone Depletion Prevention) for handling refrigerants Your own tools Able to work shifts, including some nights and weekends, in a 24/7 shop Nice to have 310T (Truck and Coach Technician) or 310J (Truck-Trailer Service Technician) certificate of qualification Carrier or Thermo King factory training Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) licence for safety inspections AZ or DZ licence to move trailers around the yard Why T Jay Steady work: our shop runs around the clock, all year [Benefits: health and dental, overtime pay, tool allowance, etc.] A growing company with multiple locations and room to move up How to apply: send your resume to tjayreeferrepair@gmail.com or call (647) 860-7600.
