Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and service diesel engines, construction machinery, industrial equipment, and transportation vehicles. Your skills will ensure that our fleet operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our commitment to excellence in every project. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including engine overhaul, transmission servicing, and air brake systems. Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems across various heavy equipment and vehicles. Maintain and repair construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractors-trailers using OEM parts and schematics. Execute fabrication tasks including welding, metal fabrication, and assembly to support equipment repairs or modifications. Conduct routine maintenance inspections on farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy construction machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues accurately and efficiently. Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and offering maintenance recommendations. Experience Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician with dealership or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical diagnostics. Hands-on experience with construction equipment servicing such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery. Familiarity with schematics, OEM parts specifications, and troubleshooting techniques for automotive and industrial equipment. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance or repair procedures. Knowledge of tire service, brake repair, alignment procedures, welding techniques, and HVAC systems is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
