Diesel Mechanic

Field Mechanic Responsible for repairing and maintaining diesel and gasoline engines and a variety of heavy equipment and vehicle systems. Perform diagnostic work and service to keep trucks and drivetrain components operating safely and efficiently. Key Duties Service and repair engines, trucks, drivetrains, hydraulic systems, brakes, suspension, and steering systems Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems Follow applicable safety regulations and safe work practices Maintain equipment in operational condition through preventative and corrective maintenance Qualifications & Skills Hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and repair experience Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine systems Ability to work safely and adhere to safety standards Proficiency with maintenance of heavy vehicle components and hydraulic/braking systems
