Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in maintaining and repairing Class 7 and 8 trucks. Knowledge of Cummins Insite diagnostic software is strongly preferred. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure our fleet operates safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Perform Routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance on Class 78 commercial trucks Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues Utilize Cummins Insite (preferred) or other diagnostic tools to identify fault codes and troubleshoot engine problems Complete oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards Inspect and test vehicles to verify repairs and perform road tests as needed Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in diesel technology preferred. 2+ years of experience with diesel engines and commercial truck maintenance. Basic knowledge of Class 7 and 8 truck systems (brakes, suspension, drivetrain, etc.). Experience using Cummins Insite or similar diagnostic software preferred. Valid driver's license; CDL a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing as needed for extended periods
