Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic (Technical & Maintenance) On-site role supporting a waste and recycling fleet. Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and hydraulic waste collection equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation. Key Duties Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to support fleet readiness Service and troubleshoot hydraulic components used in waste collection Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant work environment Use modern tools and diagnostic equipment to complete work accurately Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a diesel mechanic Strong diagnostic and repair skills for diesel and hydraulic systems Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
