Diesel Mechanic

Tampa Truck Driving School has an immediate need for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Diesel experience is a strong plus, but if you are a self-motivated mechanic who feels this might be the right opportunity for you, please don't hesitate to apply. Much of the job will consist of light repairs and routine maintenance to a small fleet of trucks and trailers. Must have the knowledge and skills to perform A/C repairs and clutch jobs. Job Requirements: -Must have a valid driver's license. -Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen/background check. - A high level of motivation, energy, and a positive attitude. -Ability to work independently and without constant supervision. -Basic mechanical skills. Responsibilities: -Perform a wide variety of repairs, maintenance, installations, replacements, preventative maintenance and diagnostic tests for various makes and models of semis and trailers in an efficient, accurate, professional and safe manner.
