Diesel Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a focus on providing quick reaction and reliable fixes. This role requires the ability to work on various types of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to brake repair, alignment, and hydraulic systems. Assemble and disassemble components as necessary for repairs. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Lift heavy components as required for repairs and maintenance tasks. Experience Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus. Strong understanding of hydraulics and mechanical systems. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
