What You’ll Do Lead and oversee daily shop maintenance and repair operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and other truck components. Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers, and other fleet equipment. Coordinate repairs, prioritize work orders, and minimize equipment downtime. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop environment. Monitor parts inventory and communicate repair needs and equipment issues to management. Ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable DOT requirements. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably working on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, electrical diagnostics, air brakes, and preventative maintenance. Leadership skills and the ability to work independently while supporting a team. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in doing quality work. Dependability, honesty, and a safety-first mindset. Your own tools, if required for the position. ASE certifications, manufacturer training, or a CDL are a plus. Why Work With Us?
