Diesel Mechanic

Role: Diesel Mechanic responsible for maintaining a public transit fleet. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel buses and related equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Utilize modern diagnostic tools to ensure accurate repairs. Follow DOT and safety standards diligently. Document all work performed accurately. Work collaboratively in a safety-focused shop environment. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with diesel engines and related systems. Knowledge of safety standards and diagnostic tools. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
