Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic with a 310T License to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Duties Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems to identify issues. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and machinery. Utilize power tools and specialized equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical problems effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks. Operate cranes and other lifting equipment safely during repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Proficiency in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines. Experience working in a dealership setting is preferred. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is an asset. Ability to lift heavy objects as required for various repair tasks. Strong understanding of electrical systems related to diesel engines. Capability to assemble components accurately based on specifications. Knowledge of how to dig safely around equipment during repairs.
