Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including construction machinery, farm machinery, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting our operations across various sectors. Duties Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, air brakes, suspension, and electrical systems using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on construction machinery, farm equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers to maximize uptime and safety. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues utilizing mechanical knowledge, electrical diagnostics, schematics, and hand tools to identify root causes swiftly. Execute welding, fabrication, tire service, brake repair, alignment checks, and HVAC repairs to maintain optimal equipment performance. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of heavy machinery components during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards. Utilize power tools and heavy lifting techniques to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics with a focus on construction machinery servicing. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of using schematics for troubleshooting complex systems. Experience working with OEM parts and understanding of factory specifications for automotive repair and heavy equipment maintenance. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently. Proficient in electrical diagnostics and automotive diagnostics to quickly identify issues across various systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.
