Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Diesel Mechanic We are seeking to employ skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanics to join our team. In this role, you will ensure the safety and operational efficiency of vehicles on and off-site by performing routine preventative maintenance, advanced mechanical troubleshooting, and complete component repairs on medium to heavy duty commercial vehicles, trailers and construction equipment. General Job Duties (may include but not limited to): General maintenance of general commercial tractors and trailers, for example: Road Calls Tire Changing Servicing - PM service Automotive Electrical & Systems Repairs Welding & Fabrication (Preferred) Computer, Hydraulic, Pneumatic/Air Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Heating & Cooling in Diesel Trucks DOT & Safety Inspections Other job duties as assigned Experience Working on Construction Equipment included but not limited to: Backhoes Bulldozers Frontend Loaders, etc. Requirements: At least 3 year s hands-on diesel vehicle and trailer maintenance and repair experience Must be able to work in all weather conditions Knowledge of South Jersey and surrounding areas Must be age 21 or over Own tools necessary to complete job requirements - we supply specialized tools License : CDL A - Preferred, will also accept CDL B with clean driving record and ability to obtain medical card Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends - Minimum 40 hours a week with overtime available over 40 hours Salary Negotiable with the right amount of knowledge and experience. 90 day probation period Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Experience: Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Required) Welding & Fabrication: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
