Diesel Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment. Looking for a candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience industrial machinery. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have own tools pay range from $19-22 hourly also, may have a company truck. Conduct repairs on various systems including transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, and suspensions. Maintain and repair farm machinery, and other industrial equipment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for assembly and repair tasks. Execute routine vehicle maintenance including tire service, brake repair, and HVAC systems. Interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating heavy machinery. Provide excellent communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Skills Proficient in diesel diagnostics and mechanical repairs. Experience with heavy equipment operation including John Deere machinery. Familiarity with fabrication techniques and welding processes. Strong understanding of electrical systems and soldering skills. Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job. Knowledge of maintenance practices on irrigation pumps .
