8 way TRUCKINGJob Overview The Diesel Mechanic maintains and repairs Freightliner semi-trucks equipped with Detroit DD15 engines. This role calls for knowledge of diesel engine systems, heavy-duty truck diagnostics, aftertreatment, electrical systems, air systems, brakes, and Freightliner vehicle components. Your impact: Accurate diagnosis and repair help keep trucks operating safely and reliably for drivers and the people who depend on their timely transport. Responsibilities Diagnose issues in Detroit DD15 diesel engine systems. Inspect and repair Freightliner truck components. Troubleshoot heavy-duty truck electrical systems. Service air systems and identify related faults. Inspect and repair truck braking systems. Diagnose and address aftertreatment system concerns. Requirements Strong understanding of diesel engine systems. Ability to diagnose heavy-duty truck issues. Knowledge of diesel aftertreatment systems. Familiarity with electrical and air systems. Understanding of heavy-duty truck brake systems. Knowledge of Freightliner vehicle components and systems. Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
