Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Technician for the Technical & Maintenance team, responsible for keeping a transportation fleet running efficiently and reliably to support customer service. Key Duties Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and fleet equipment. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs. Use technical tools and diagnostic methods to identify mechanical issues accurately. Ensure repairs are completed to safe, quality, and performance standards. Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair findings as needed. Follow established safety procedures and best practices in the maintenance shop. Qualifications & Skills Strong diagnostics and hands-on repair skills for diesel engines and related systems. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on vehicle performance and reliability. Ability to read and interpret technical information and troubleshooting resources. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient maintenance practices.
