Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Smith's Towing is hiring a dependable diesel mechanic to keep our fleet of tow trucks on the road. You don't need to be a master tech. We're looking for a solid maintenance technician who shows up, does the job right, and takes pride in the trucks. What you'll do Preventive maintenance and inspections on our fleet Brakes, suspension, steering, tires, and driveline repairs Basic electrical, lighting, and hydraulic troubleshooting Catch small problems before they turn into breakdowns Keep clear service records on each truck What we're looking for 2+ years of diesel or fleet maintenance experience Able to work on your own without constant supervision Your own basic hand tools Valid driver's license (CDL a plus) Reliable and safety-minded Pay and benefits $25-$30 per hour Health insurance, with the company paying 50% of the premium Dental and vision coverage available (employee-paid) SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with a 3% company match after a waiting period Paid holidays PTO and vacation days Schedule Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 – 50.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
