Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Class A Fleet Mechanic to support the safe, reliable, road-ready operation of waste and recycling fleets. Performs diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Class A trucks and related equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems. Key Duties Diagnose vehicle issues and perform mechanical repairs Complete preventive maintenance to keep equipment in safe working condition Conduct DOT inspections and address inspection findings Maintain accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with operations to support fleet uptime and safety goals Qualifications Class A CDL or ability to obtain/maintain required Class A licensing Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair fleet equipment Commitment to a safety-first culture and proper procedures
