Key Responsibilities
• Prioritize health and safety by complying with all safe work practices and acting safely at all times.
• Safely move company equipment within the yard as needed.
• Assist drivers in addressing vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Complete daily maintenance checklists as required.
• Ensure equipment is parked and secured according to permit and DOT requirements.
• Help maintain facility cleanliness through housekeeping duties.
• Undertake other tasks as assigned by management based on Clean Harbors' business needs.
What Do You Need to Join Clean Harbors?
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A team-oriented mindset.
• 1+ years of experience working with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years of DOT inspection experience.
• Must have your own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam upon hire.
