Diesel Fleet Mechanic
Greenawalt Excavating Inc.We are looking for a mechanic for general repairs and diagnosing problems. Small engine repair experience, general maintenance on the trucks, trailers and equipment. You will need to set up a maintenance schedule for the trucks, trailers and equipment. Be familiar with DOT regulations and help us stay in compliance. We have a large heated building, with an air compressor, tools and small overhead lifts. You will need to communicate with the front office, the operators and laborers and estimators to set up scheduling for required maintenace of the equipment. You may have to travel to jobsites for repairs. If you are an inspection mechanic and interested in servicing other vehicles or trucks in our building and operating your own shop, that may be a possibility. We are a family owned business and expect you to be honest, trustworthy and hard working. 90 day probation period, after that you can get health insurance, dental and vision and PTO time.
