Diesel Fleet Mechanic

2nd-Shift Mechanic to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and heavy equipment used in waste management operations. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and brake systems. Perform preventive maintenance to support safe, reliable operation. Inspect, troubleshoot, and complete mechanical repairs on fleet equipment. Document all maintenance and repair work accurately. Follow strict safety procedures and company requirements. Collaborate with drivers and supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime. Qualifications & Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining heavy equipment and fleet vehicles. Proficiency diagnosing and repairing engine, hydraulic, electrical, and braking systems. Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Good documentation skills and attention to detail.
