Diagnostic Semi-Truck Mechanic

F1rst Call Truck & Trailer Repair is looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Diagnostic Technician to join our team. We are seeking a skilled, dependable mechanic with experience using computer diagnostic tools to troubleshoot, identify, and repair mechanical and electronic issues in heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Responsibilities Perform computer diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Use diagnostic software and scan tools to identify engine, electrical, and system faults. Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, ABS, and electrical system issues. Read and interpret diagnostic fault codes and technical reports. Perform inspections, identify mechanical problems, and recommend repairs. Verify repairs and ensure vehicles are operating safely and properly. Maintain accurate records of diagnostic results and completed repairs. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications Previous experience as a diesel mechanic, truck mechanic, or diagnostic technician. Hands-on experience with heavy-duty truck diagnostic software and scan tools. Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, ABS, and trailer systems. Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a good work ethic. Must have the experience to perform the job. Pay will be discussed during the interview.
