DevSecOps Engineer

DevSecOps Enginer Work Location: Herndon, VA The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for Infrastructure as Code (IaS) for new and existing development environments. Deployment of tools, infrastructure security, monitoring, and installation/configuration of custom developed applications. The DevSecOps Engineer plays a key role in establishing secure workflows and patterns for application lifecycle management. This role is focused on solution development for a Classified Linux Dev Sec Ops Engineer with a focus on Amazon Web Service AWS Kubernetes Cluster environment. TS/SCI with adjudicated CI Poly required prior to start CompTIA Security+ or equivalent Certification or ability to obtain one. Proficiency with git and version control systems (Github, GitLab) in a team setting. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security. Experience designing infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform. Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). Experience with Linux administration and hardening. Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and software supply chain security. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and SDLC promotion strategies. Knowledge of AWS secrets management platforms. Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
