Design Intern/Admin Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Design Intern/Admin Assistant to join our team. This role involves material ordering and coordination, accounts payable entry, record keeping, assisting with customer meetings/site visits, and maintaining our showroom. The ideal candidate has a passion for interior design, delivering an elevated customer experience, and a keen eye for detail. This position will offer mentorship and growth opportunities in interior design. Responsibilities Compile bill-of-materials from kitchen and bath designs Initiate procurement and coordinate delivery of accessories and raw materials Compile and review all paperwork required for accounts payable Intern under senior designer to learn standard cabinetry layouts, designs, and methodologies Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications Experience Proven experience in administrative roles Hands-on experience with Quickbooks software an asset Experience with Design Flex, 20/20, or Mozaik an asset This position is ideal for individuals passionate about interior design who are eager to enter the industry or further develop their skillset under a senior designer.
