DEPUTY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT OFFICER.

Duties You will exercise associated authority concurrently with the Director and have full authority to exercise direction over the personnel of the office. You will exercise position of Acting Director during absence of the Director and assume full duties and responsibilities. You will maintain liaison with USINDOPACOM, OPNAV, MARFORPAC, NAVSUP, THIRDFLT, SEVENTHFLT, TYCOMS, and other activities in the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility and associated activities throughout the Naval Service. You will assist the Director with implementing operating policies and procedures, organizational structures, staffing requirements, and related programs which frequently change as a result of shifting workloads, changing programs and priorities. You will supervise the Directorate’s four Divisions and respective staffs as well as all directorate administrative support personnel. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and synchronizing supply readiness, logistics posture, movement, and sustainment across theaters of operations (preferably Pacific) especially under contested environments. Additionally, operating as a team leader, manager/supervisor, and problem-solving professional in an environment of continuous business transformation and innovation.
