About the Opportunity: The DEMAND PLANNING MANAGER role at Coterie involves owning the end-to-end demand forecast across multiple sales channels including direct-to-consumer, Amazon, retail, and wholesale. This position is critical to supporting the brand's growth by transforming commercial plans and sales data into accurate demand forecasts and inventory requirements. The manager will build planning capabilities and processes in a dynamic environment, influencing inventory management, working capital, customer satisfaction, and overall profitable growth. Responsibilities: Manage Coterie's SKU-level demand forecast across DTC, Amazon, retail, wholesale, and emerging channels. Develop rolling forecasts incorporating historical data, seasonality, promotions, marketing plans, and other demand drivers. Create customer-level forecasts for wholesale and retail segments. Translate commercial initiatives into demand and inventory requirements. Maintain an independent and clear view on demand forecasts. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership for alignment on demand plans. Monitor and improve forecast accuracy and bias. Diagnose forecast deviations and improve forecasting processes. Develop reporting and KPIs to inform organizational understanding. Identify emerging demand trends and inventory risks. Establish operating rhythms to maintain forecast reliability. Work with Supply Planning to translate demand into inventory needs and identify constraints. Monitor performance against forecasts and update plans accordingly. Provide actionable recommendations on inventory management. Support the balance between service levels, growth, and working capital. Communicate forecast changes and implications to relevant teams. Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes including demand reviews and executive support. Requirements: Experience in demand planning and forecasting within a multi-channel retail environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Experience building or improving planning processes and tools. Strong communication skills for cross-functional engagement. Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
