Demand Planning Analyst
Organic ValleyLocation – Remote This role is eligible to be performed remotely, however, if you reside within 100 miles of Organic Valley offices in WI, you will be expected to collaborate onsite in a hybrid fashion for 4-8 days per month. If you reside outside of 100 miles, you will travel in 4 times/year for intentional collaboration and connection.

Summary of Role
The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving demand forecasts to execute efficient production, inventory management, and customer service. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to translate market insights and business assumptions into accurate, actionable demand plans. This position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to drive data-informed decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting & Planning – 35-40%
- Own and lead demand forecasting processes across assigned categories, customers, or business units.
- Develop and maintain short-, mid- and long-term demand forecasts at appropriate levels of aggregation.
- Analyze historical sales, promotions, seasonality, market trends, and customer behavior to improve forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to align forecasts with business plans.
- Lead and support monthly demand review and S&OP / IBP processes.
- Evaluate forecast accuracy, bias, and drivers; define and execute corrective actions to improve performance.
- No leadership expectations beyond collaboration.
Forecast Performance Management & Demand Signal Integration – 20–25%
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias using KPIs (e.g., MAPE, Bias) and implement corrective actions.
-Partner with Sales, Sales Finance and Marketing to incorporate promotions, customer insights, and market intelligence into forecasts.
-Identify risks and opportunities in the demand outlook and proactively communicate impacts.
Forecasting Process Improvement & Decision Support – 15–20%
- Continuously improving forecasting processes, tools, and data quality.
- Document assumptions, methodologies, and changes to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Clearly communicate assumptions, insights, and recommendations.
-Support scenario planning and what-if analysis for business decisions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, or a related role.
- APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP), preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Base salary range: $67,516.80 - $81,827.20 per year
This salary range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary wage range and hiring at the maximum of the salary wage range is not typical.
