We are seeking a Demand Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all forecasting activities for assigned sales channels and products. The Demand Planner develops and maintains forecast models, integrating business insights and information from internal Sales, Product/GTM, Finance team, retailer replenishment analysts, and other key partners.
Role and Responsibilities
- Possess strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes to provide informed recommendations to stakeholders and make sound planning-related decisions.
- Navigate the dynamics of a sales-driven business by effectively balancing operational objectives with the need to support sales goals.
- Take ownership of all planning activities for assigned sales channels and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Develop demand forecasts for assigned sales channels across multiple aggregation levels and time horizons
- Analyze historical sales trends, identify key demand drivers, prepare forecasting data, and evaluate forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product/GTM, and Finance to incorporate current business insights into the demand forecast.
- Closely work with sales and sales representative group members to understand the business and capture any updates which could impact planning related activities and decisions.
- Collaborate with retailers through on-cadence CPFR meetings (virtual or in-person) to present planning team with any updates and address any questions from the retailers and potential risks or issues from a planning perspective.
- Manage supply planning activities, including updating bi-weekly supply planning files, reviewing inventory levels and inbound shipments, and partnering with HQ counterparts to coordinate demand inputs to ensure alignment across the planning process and secure sufficient inventory to support the forecast.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to monitor POs, inventory availability, transfers, and rework, ensuring forecasts are fully supported, and perform additional related activities as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate with China-based HQ teams as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus
- 2+ years prior Supply Chain- Demand planning experience required
- Retail or eCommerce experience is required; industry experience in consumer electronics is a plus.
- Wholesale experience is a plus
- Technical knowledge in the CE industry is a plus
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially spreadsheet modeling skills, including PivotTables, lookups, basic formulas, and data organization
- Advanced experience with Power BI; experience with TrackVia is a plus
- Adaptable to the fast-paced industry

- Travel up to 10% within Canada and to the North American home office in Seattle, Washington. Travel may include visits to sales representative teams, retailers, retail events, and TUSA’s warehouse.
