Elite Brands of ColoradoTitle: Western Slope Delivery Associate Reports To: Western Slope Delivery Manager Anticipated Schedule: FULL-TIME Summary The Western Slope Delivery Associate assists with completing all aspects of a beverage distribution operation. Duties include receiving internal and external orders, maintaining inventory with accuracy, picking orders for delivery, and completing assigned deliveries. The job is fast paced and will require excellent communication, time, and task management skills. Success in this role will always require open and honest feedback to all members of the team. Essential Duties Deliver product to restaurants, bars, and retail accounts on the Western Slope Execute assigned routes efficiently while providing excellent customer service Ensure accurate delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoices, while providing great customer service to our clients. Unloads trucks and containers using appropriate equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts). Use a dolly, ramp, and proper techniques to move full (165 lbs.) and empty (30 lbs.) kegs Follows proper inventory rotation methods, transfers goods from bulk storage to picking locations. Records and reports inventory discrepancies in system and/or to manager and assists in inventory audits and physical counts. Support other warehouse functions such as packing, shipping, or returns as needed. Pull merchandise from inventory using voice pick system, lifting and carrying merchandise and packaging merchandise securely to avoid damage. Loads delivery trucks in order of route manifest in a secure manner that minimizes product damage and creates a safe environment for all employees. Operates company vehicle with GVWR of 26,000 lbs. in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Ensures delivery of vehicles are clean and in good working conditions. Assists in maintaining a neat and clean workplace at all times. Provides customers with receipts or credit form for merchandise to be picked up. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: One to two years’ related experience and/or training. Certificates and Licenses: Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
