Job Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Delivery Truck Loader, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe loading of delivery trucks. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to materials handling, warehouse operations, and heavy equipment operation. You'll be responsible for preparing shipments, organizing inventory, and executing manual handling tasks with precision and safety at the forefront. Duties Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and crane systems. Organize and secure inventory within the warehouse to facilitate smooth order picking and shipping processes. Operate material handling equipment safely, including RF scanners for inventory management and heavy machinery for large or bulky items. Assist with order picking activities, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling shipping and receiving requests. Follow safety protocols diligently in accordance with OSHA standards to prevent accidents during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and equipment usage to support warehouse operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and improve overall logistics efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations. Familiarity with order picker, forklift, clamp truck, pallet jack, crane, and other heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and materials handling procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and effectively. Experience using RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments accurately. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse work environments. Prior experience in warehouse supervisor roles or extensive warehouse experience is a plus. Join us in delivering excellence!
