Delivery Truck Driver/Shop Helper

Responsibilities Safely operate pickup trucks, and flatbed trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks Deliver products to customers’ locations while adhering to route schedules and ensuring timely service Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving stock, and organizing storage areas Ensure safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks to prevent injuries and maintain workplace safety standards Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial trucks highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; comfortable with moving large or heavy items using appropriate equipment Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure compliance at all times Strong organizational skills for route planning and delivery scheduling Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is advantageous Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your skills in driving, manual handling, and customer service will be valued.
