Delivery Truck Driver

Responsibilities Drive a 24-26 foot box truck daily Safely and efficiently deliver milk, ice cream, and other products to customers according to assigned routes and delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers. Arrive on time and complete assigned deliveries accurately and efficiently and meet delivery window times Load and unload products from the delivery truck. Stock, rotate, and organize products to ensure proper product freshness and date rotation. Process product returns and handle vendor returns as needed. Safely operate a hand truck and move fully loaded milk crates and pallets. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary delivery truck and work area. Follow all company safety procedures and proper product-handling practices. Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements & Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no accidents Must successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background and criminal history checks and drug screening. Must be dependable, punctual, responsible, and customer-service oriented. Must be able to work independently and manage a daily delivery route. Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly. Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver fully loaded milk crates weighing approximately 200–400 pounds using appropriate equipment. Must be able to move fully loaded pallets and safely operate a hand truck. Must be physically able to enter and exit a box truck frequently throughout the workday. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather conditions. Must be willing to work early mornings, flexible hours, overtime as needed, and occasional weekends and holidays. Must maintain a clean truck and organized delivery area. Must be committed to safe driving, dependable attendance, and professional conduct.
