Delivery Truck Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a flat bed stake truck to deliver goods efficiently and safely across the South East Michigan and Northern Ohio regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the capability to handle various manual and material handling tasks. This position offers an opportunity to be the front line of our service, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive customer relationships. Duties Operate a flat bed stake truck to run delivery routes within designated regional areas, primarily in South East Michigan and Northern Ohio. Safely drive and navigate delivery routes Monday through Friday, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Use mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and delivery documentation. Handle materials manually and operate material handling equipment as needed during loading and unloading processes. Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing inventory. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and interactions with clients. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times. Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road and at delivery sites. Qualifications Valid chauffeur's license with a medical DOT certification is required. Experience in delivery driving or related roles is preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment and perform manual handling tasks safely. Comfortable using mobile devices for communication and route management. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude as the front line of our service team. Good organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries and documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards. Physical ability to handle manual tasks associated with loading, unloading, and warehouse operations.
