• Unload incoming mail trays and parcel hampers from regional transport trucks
• Sort parcels accurately into carrier-specific route bins and staging racks
• Scan package barcodes upon station arrival to log final-mile tracking data
• Assist mail carriers with loading heavy packages and mail hampers into delivery trucks
• Maintain clean, organized staging aisles and clear empty transport containers
• Inspect incoming packages for damage, address legibility, or postage issues
Required Abilities and Credentials:
• Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 70 pounds repeatedly
• Solid spatial organization and route-sorting accuracy
• Ability to work early morning or shift hours aligned with carrier dispatch schedules
• Strong teamwork skills in a bustling facility environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior exposure to warehouse, logistics, or postal sorting operations
• Experience using handheld electronic inventory scanners
