Delivery Specialist

Overview IHD Solutions is a full line manufacturing support company that is looking for someone to join our dynamic team. As a Delivery Specialist and become the driving force behind seamless, efficient deliveries that delight customers and keep operations moving forward! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing delivery routes, and providing exceptional customer service. We manage the customers inventory by making sure stock levels are the the appropriate levels. This position works with the account mangers to put the product away. Your enthusiasm and dedication will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles, to deliver products to customers’ locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky goods. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, adapting as needed to meet delivery schedules and customer needs. Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards; report any issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving items within the facility, and supporting team members as needed. Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports to ensure compliance with company policies. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading tools; certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills to plan routes effectively while managing time efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
