Delivery Route Contractor - Cargo Van / Sprinter Van (Local Routes)

Overview Job Type: Contract / 1099 Independent Contractor Pay: $250 / day guaranteed Location: state: Columbus OH, Cities; Reynoldsburg, Lewis center, Westerville, Grove City& Surrounding Areas Locally. About the Opportunity: Vincent Miller Trucking is seeking reliable Independent Contractors with their own Cargo Vans or Sprinter Vans for local, door-to-door retail delivery routes. You will be picking up freight from a local retail store and delivering directly to customers within the immediate surrounding communities. Route Details & Compensation: Guaranteed Pay: $250 flat daily rate. Payment Schedule: Weekly pay (Note: Initial payout is on a Net-14 schedule, meaning your first check is 14 days after your start date, followed by weekly payments). Route Volume: You can expect an average of 80 stops per day (can occasionally reach the low 90s during heavy volume). Time Commitment: Routes generally take up to 8 hours to complete. High-Density Routing: The delivery footprint is highly localized around the pickup store. Stops are tightly grouped, averaging just 3 to 5 minutes apart and can vary. The Freight: Door-to-door deliveries consisting mainly of small to medium-sized retail parcels, boxes, and packages. Contractor Requirements: Must own or lease a reliable Cargo Van or Sprinter Van (Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes Sprinter, etc. – No SUVs or minivans ). Valid driver's license, active vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record. Reliable smartphone for using delivery and routing applications. Highly recommended to have your own dolly or hand-truck to make deliveries smoother. Ability to safely lift, load, and deliver packages to residential and commercial doors.
