Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes Support order picking processes utilizing RF scanners and manual methods to ensure accurate inventory management Help organize warehouse storage areas, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently according to warehouse procedures Participate in shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper placement of goods Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or clamp trucks following safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records of materials handled Follow all safety guidelines during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and promote a safe working environment Skills Experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or shipping & receiving processes Proficiency with warehouse equipment operation including forklift, pallet jack, clamp truck, crane, and material handling tools Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and materials handling best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to OSHA safety protocols Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory levels Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking and inventory updates Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for individuals with warehouse experience or those eager to develop skills in logistics operations.
