Responsibilities Safely operate various commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vans, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely drop-offs while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, moving materials, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with dispatch or team members. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Follow safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries and promote workplace safety. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving roles. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and manual handling procedures. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations for safe commercial transportation. Excellent customer service skills to represent the company professionally during deliveries. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and efficiently. Physical capability for heavy lifting, moving goods, and manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment.
