Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine driving with warehouse operations, ensuring timely deliveries and efficient handling of goods. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting products, managing warehouse tasks, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive attitude and attention to safety will help us maintain high standards of operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will need to be physically fit, in order to do this job proficient. Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and organize merchandise using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Deliver goods to customers’ locations promptly while providing friendly and professional customer service. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with dispatch teams. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit, following safe lifting practices for heavy or bulky items. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance issues promptly. Experience Must have a valid Drivers License with a great MVR. (DOES NOT REQUIRE CDL) Previous warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts is preferred. Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or vans, demonstrating safe driving habits and adherence to traffic laws. Experience in commercial truck driving or courier services is highly desirable. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is a plus, along with the ability to handle heavy lifting safely. Strong understanding of route driving, load & unload procedures, and DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries. Ability to work physically demanding shifts involving moving items, manual handling, and manual lifting while maintaining safety standards.
