Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Position: Delivery Driver Position Summary: Flora Fresh Inc. is an employee-owned wholesale floral, plant, and floral supply distributor located in Sacramento, California. As a Delivery Driver you will ensure our customers receive their orders as scheduled. Your friendly attitude will help maintain customer relationships as you are often the only Flora Fresh employee these customers see in person. Ensure your route is ready to deliver by checking invoices, pulling last minute items, working with Account Reps to fill substitutions, and box orders. Complete pre-trip maintenance checks and refill gas in the van or box truck you are assigned to use for your route. Report any maintenance issues immediately. Provide friendly and efficient service at delivery stops. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles including always using hands free devices, parking in approved spaces, and obeying speed limits. All other duties as requested. Minimum Requirements: At least 18 years of age. Ability to work Monday-Friday and one Saturday per month between 5:00AM-8:00PM. Most shifts are 8 hours, but overtime will occasionally be needed for peak periods and longer routes including Nevada routes. Must be able to enter and exit a box truck and safely load and off-load orders. Must be able to identify colors to appropriately pull orders. Driver license and clear driving record. Working Conditions: In-person in Sacramento, CA Day shifts Monday-Friday between 5:00AM-8:00PM Work is primarily seated and standing. Frequently seated while driving. Frequently walking and climbing into a truck while loading and off-loading orders. Frequent reaching, grabbing, and transferring items. Frequent bending, stooping, and overhead reach. Frequently lifting 25lbs. Occasionally lifting 75lbs. Must be able to consistently work around plants and flowers of different varieties.
