Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Summary: Drives company Van (Ford Transit or similar) over established route to deliver products, collects money from customers, and makes change by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Drives truck to deliver such items as tobacco products, drinks, bakery products, dry cleaning, laundry, specialty foods, etc to customer’s place of business. 2. Collects from customers, makes change, and records transactions on customer receipt. 3. Writes customer instructions and maintains proper communication between customers and office administration as needed. 4. Records sales or deliveries information on daily sales or delivery record. 5. Informs regular customers of new products or services. 6. Listens to and resolves service complaints. 7. ---------- 8. Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. 9. Loads truck and assists other drivers in loading trucks as needed. 10. Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. 11. Cleans inside of truck. 12. Performs routine maintenance on truck.
