Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, experienced Delivery Driver / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This position combines local deliveries with hands-on warehouse work. Deliveries are generally made 2–3 days per week, primarily using a delivery van, with approximately two days per month using a box truck. Delivery routes cover New York City and northern New Jersey. A typical day of deliveries in NYC involves 5–7 stops. On days without deliveries, you will assist the warehouse team with receiving and organizing merchandise, building pallets, picking orders, and other warehouse duties as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, professional, comfortable with physical work, and committed to safe driving and careful handling of merchandise. Responsibilities Make deliveries and pickups approximately 2–3 days per week in NYC and northern New Jersey. Load, unload, and handle merchandise carefully, ensuring deliveries are accurate and complete. Use a hand truck and pallet jack to move merchandise safely. Follow assigned delivery schedules and maintain professional, courteous relationships with customers. Complete routine vehicle safety inspections, report maintenance issues, and keep vehicles clean and in good condition. Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing merchandise in the warehouse. Build pallets, pick orders, and perform other warehouse duties as needed. Follow all applicable driving, safety, and company procedures. Qualifications Previous delivery driving experience required; truck or commercial delivery experience preferred. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. CDL not required for the vehicles used in this position. Familiarity with driving and making deliveries in NYC and northern New Jersey is a plus. Ability to repeatedly lift and carry cases weighing up to 50 pounds, load and unload merchandise, and perform other physically demanding warehouse tasks. Ability to safely operate a hand truck and pallet jack, or willingness to learn. Ability to follow delivery instructions, manage paperwork, and communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Dependable, punctual, organized, and safety-conscious. Willingness to perform both driving and warehouse duties as business needs require. One small suggestion: I would keep the 50-pound lifting requirement in the posting. It makes the physical demands clear to applicants from the beginning and helps attract candidates who are comfortable with the full scope of the job.
