Duties Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Ensure accurate delivery of products to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service and professional communication. Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, stock organization, and maintaining a clean work environment. Use mobile devices or delivery apps to navigate routes efficiently, track deliveries, and communicate with team members. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations. Support in moving heavy items within the warehouse or during deliveries using safe lifting practices and manual handling skills. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, preferably with commercial driving experience involving box trucks or vans. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Strong understanding of warehouse operations, manual handling, heavy lifting, and safe lifting practices. Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, DOT compliance, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities. Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining safety standards; physical stamina for moving goods throughout the day. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation and delivery tracking is preferred.
