Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team! Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and organize products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts. Prepare delivery routes using mobile devices or GPS systems to optimize efficiency and ensure timely arrivals. Deliver goods directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction. Assist with warehouse operations by opening, inspecting, and preparing product, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any issues promptly. Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is highly preferred. Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record; familiarity with commercial truck driving or van delivery is advantageous. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Familiarity with route planning tools, mobile devices for communication, and adherence to DOT regulations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally during deliveries.
