Position Summary The Warehouse Support & Delivery Driver plays an essential role in daily warehouse operations, cooler maintenance, order fulfillment, and customer deliveries. This position works closely with warehouse staff and the operations team to receive, process, organize, stage, and pack floral products while maintaining product quality and an orderly work environment. Responsibilities also include safely operating a company van or light truck to deliver or pick up merchandise, verifying orders, obtaining customer signatures or payments when required, and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently. Essential Functions 1. Warehouse & Cooler Operations Receive incoming floral products and verify quantities and items against transfer paperwork. Become familiar with floral product names, quality standards, and proper care and handling procedures. Report product shortages, damage, and quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Process, stage, merchandise, and rotate floral products to maintain freshness and product quality. Pull, document, and pack customer orders according to branch procedures and specifications. Assist with inventory control, stock organization, and physical inventory counts. Maintain an understanding of the warehouse layout, including the sales floor, inventory areas, order staging areas, and equipment storage. Organize products and work areas to support efficient order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and cooler by keeping shelves, pallets, workstations, and walkways free of debris and excess water. Follow established company procedures, safety rules, and operational standards. Perform other duties as assigned. 2. Delivery & Warehouse Support Coordinate with the supervisor to determine efficient delivery routes and schedules. Verify delivery addresses and confirm that products match the corresponding customer orders. Strap, label, and secure orders properly before loading. Organize the loading dock according to delivery routes and schedules. Load the company vehicle in the appropriate delivery sequence, ensuring the last delivery is loaded first. Deliver merchandise to customers accurately, professionally, and on schedule. Deliver boxes to the appropriate airlines in accordance with established procedures. Collect the required airbill for each shipment, verify package counts, and clearly mark each box with its corresponding airbill information to minimize shipping errors. Obtain customer signatures and collect payments when required, following company procedures. Maintain accurate records of delivered packages and completed deliveries. Communicate delays, delivery issues, or other concerns to the supervisor promptly. Follow all company driver policies and delivery procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. 3. Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance Conduct vehicle inspections to help ensure the safe operation of company vehicles. Report vehicle damage, mechanical issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. Complete a post-trip inspection upon returning to the warehouse. Ensure the vehicle is properly parked, locked, and secured when not in use. Maintain the vehicle in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other duties as assigned.
