Delivery Driver/Warehouse/Production Worker

Ridgefield Flooring is a hardwood flooring manufacturer, distributor and installation specialist looking for a delivery driver/shop hand to deliver flooring to our valued customers and collaborate closely with our team members inside of our warehouse and manufacturing facility. Compensation and benefits Paid on the job training Paid time off. 401K Matching Health Insurance Dental and Eye Care Insurance Promotions from within leading to advancement opportunities Job Description/ Job Duties Safely drive and operate a delivery vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws Lift and carry up to 75 lbs. repetitively into homes/buildings. Walk up and down steps or uneven surfaces as needed while carrying up to 75 lbs. Perform basic vehicle inspections. Stand or sit for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Communicate with customers in person and over the phone in a professional and courteous manner. Material handling with or without reasonable accommodation Order picking and packing then reviewing orders to ensure accuracy Picking up and verifying orders from venders. Operate forklift (training available) Production Tasks to be Explained at Time of Interview Examples of Tasks Involved on As Needed Basis: Pre-Assembly Machine Operator (Cutting & Preparation) Glue Rack Rip Saw Trim Moulder Flooring Line Basic Job requirements Valid drivers license with clean driving record. Ideal candidate would have the ability to upgrade to class "C" commercial license High school diploma, G.E.D. or experience equivalent. Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills Ability to take and follow directions in a fast-paced environment Basic reading and writing skills. GOO Commute to Ridgefield Demonstrate good attendance Strong work ethic. A detailed-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role Ability to work with others as a team or on your own Ability to maintain safe work practices. Experience With Production Equipment is not Required but Encouraged, Training is Provided.
