Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate About the Role Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate ! This position combines local deliveries with hands-on warehouse responsibilities, offering variety throughout the workday. From delivering materials to customers and ensuring timely, accurate service to receiving shipments and fulfilling orders, no two days are the same. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and working in a team-oriented environment while also being comfortable working independently. Key Responsibilities Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Safely operate company delivery vehicles, including a 16-foot stake body truck and a 16-foot box truck, to transport materials to customers and job sites Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring materials are properly secured for transportation Complete local deliveries accurately, efficiently, and on schedule Verify orders and delivery paperwork to ensure accuracy Provide professional, courteous customer service during deliveries Maintain clean and organized delivery vehicles Perform routine pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and delivery guidelines Warehouse Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming shipments Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space Stock materials on shelves and assist with inventory management Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently Cut wire and cable using wire machines as needed Process customer returns and returns to vendors Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed Please note: This list is not exhaustive. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Authorization to work in the United States Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability and willingness to safely operate a 16-foot stake body truck and a 16-foot box truck Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record review Ability to safely lift, carry, load, and unload materials throughout the workday Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Positive attitude and strong customer service skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience driving box trucks, stake body trucks, or similar commercial delivery vehicles Prior warehouse or similar experience is preferred Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes Experience handling electrical supplies, wire, cable, or similar materials is a plus Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or order management systems Working Conditions Combination of local delivery driving and warehouse work Operation of 16-foot box trucks and stake body trucks Fast-paced environment requiring frequent movement, lifting, and handling of materials Exposure to various outdoor temperatures, including hot or cold conditions, during deliveries and warehouse activities Frequent entering and exiting of delivery vehicles Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and loading/unloading materials Compensation Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour Additional Compensation: Eligible for profit-sharing opportunities Benefits Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time positions Financial Security: 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Work-Life Balance: Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacation days Reports To: Profit Center Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: None Why Join Us?
